I am a born and raised native of the great state of Colorado. I grew up 25 miles northwest of Bennett in Brighton. Like Bennett, Brighton was a small town which has since ballooned into quite the city.
I earned my Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in social studies from the University of Northern Colorado in 2008 and have been teaching at CCA since November of 2010.
I am married to my wife Monique and we have two opposite, yet amazing dogs, Madison and Apollo.

I am a fan of all things sports including baseball, basketball, hockey, and soccer. While I am a fan of local teams such as the Rockies, Nuggets, and Avs, I was wise enough at the age of 8 years to follow Derrick Thomas and the Kansas City Chiefs. It has been a great experience and one of my fondest moments in life was having the opportunity to attend my first game at Arrowhead Stadium on a freezing day. The outcome.... the Chiefs defeated the Broncos 42-17; what more could I ask for?
If I am not enjoying sports, you can find me outdoors (usually camping or hiking), taking pictures, traveling, or reading.
I look forward to working with you all this upcoming year and if you have any questions please do no hesitate to contact me at: castor.david@ccabennett.org
